Skippy joined the Blue Watch after transferring from Thames Reach, after they were cut down to one appliance. He was nicknamed 'Skippy' because he was from Australia. He was originally travelling the World, but ran out of money in London, so that is where he stayed.
Skippy's father was in the Brigade in Perth, Western Australia. That is where he got the idea about joining the Service.
Skippy talked a young woman, Claire, out of ending her life by jumping off of a roof. She was so grateful, she bought him a present, a lighter, and brought it to the station. Claire also gave Skippy her number.
At the end of Series 9, Skippy was injured when the appliance fell of the cliff. This marked the end of his fire-fighting career.
Chris appeared in 6 episodes of London's Burning in 1996.
