Karen Wilson was the first wife of firefighter Mike 'Bayleaf' Wilson. They had a daughter Melanie. She and Bayleaf divorced, and he was awarded custody of Melanie after Karen suffered a mental breakdown. Several years later Karen returned with a new boyfriend and kidnapped Melanie. They were located in Spain, where they had Melanie working as a waitress in their restaurant. Bayleaf traveled to Spain and brought Melanie back with him. Karen was not heard from again.
